Quite enjoyed my breakfast at Hatch. It was fresh, tasty and made with quality ingredients. Visited on a weekend so it was very busy and I actually had a short wait for my table. However, the service was quick and friendly. One thing to note is that after taking a glance into the kitchen, I could see all the food was being cooked on the same grill - eggs, sausages etc. I point this out because for anyone seeking halal or even vegetarian options, the cross contamination is very problematic. Had I not seen this, I would have given Hatch a 5 star review.
Really fresh, tasty food...Good service will return.
This place was very welcoming and tasty for the value. I really enjoyed the full English breakfast served here and the salmon Benedict was to die for . The Nutella pancakes were great too and filling! Would definitely visit again with friends and family.
It's too noisy, there are no drapes or soft furnishings to baffle the sound of voices, they all echo around the room. Some acoustic baffles hanging from the concrete ceiling would work a treat. The industrial, bare concrete ceiling may look appealing to some but it does nothing for the acoustics of the building. That being said the food was superb, I had a full English that was obviously good quality ingredients, well cooked and expertly presented. My wife had a vegetarian version of the same for some reason and was equally pleased. Daughter had American pancakes with Nutella and was uncharacteristically quiet for the duration. Would I recommend it, I certainly would though it could do with being quieter.
Busy but we'll staffed, so plenty good service
Great service. We had eggs benny/granola bowl… Food was fresh and delicious. Try the warmed cookie cup
