Harris Teeter

Warning: You will be searched if you walk out of this grocery store now. They've begun checking receipts only for people who walk or bike to this store (my understanding is they do not do this to people who access the store via the parking garage). They will ask to search your bag for groceries if you bring your own totebag. The receipt checking creates a massive que when trying to leave the store and generally makes this a very unpleasant shopping experience as you wait in yet another line after you've already waited to check out.

The deli is trash multiple people see you standing there its always a 10- 15 minute wait before someone talks you. They are so incredibly rude and slow why the heck does it take 24 minutes to get a half pound of cheese Update only took 19 minutes today

I dread going to this store. It’s the closest store to my house but I still find myself driving across the river for a far superior experience. The store looks as worn out as the employees. The deli is a real chore and checking out is beyond frustrating.

What was once a friendly establishment is now trying to run customers off. After watching a person pay for their groceries (largely because it is almost all self checkout), a person will accost you at the door to check your receipt (not actually look at what you buy but to draw a highlighted line on it.) When asked, the lady advised me she was "making sure I got all that I bought." At least be honest and explain that this is a theft prevention technique. Instead it comes across as liars calling the customers thieves. That ruins the shopping experience...

Great sales, especially on the items I wanted

This is a high cost, low quantity grocery store. If you're getting a service item, sandwich made etc., the service is unbelievably slow and unfriendly.

What an outstanding and awesome… we’ll simply delightful experience I witnessed at the the deli… I was so impressed and pleasantly pleased with the quality of care and service from Kevin and Nicole… I am definitely a repeat customer…. The professionalism displayed , coupled with a joyful affection… demonstrates that they both love their customers and providing a impactful experience and service…. These two are definitely invaluable assets to the continued success of Harris Teeters…. They are A-1!!!!!!!🙂
