crazy combo of Boba and fried chicken...who knew?

Hangry Joe's gets points for cleanliness and friendly service. The staff was attentive and the restaurant itself was well-maintained. However, the chicken itself fell a bit short. The breading was overly flaky, flaking off easily and leaving the chicken somewhat bare. The dry seasonings, while offering some spice, lacked depth of flavor. The spicier options were particularly overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy the chicken itself. Overall, a decent experience with friendly service, but the chicken needs some work in terms of flavor and texture.

I could have wept tears of bliss when I first ate this chicken sandwich. I got the #1 combo with a mild spicy level and it was perfect with the coleslaw and signature sauce. Screw Popeyes, screw Chick-fil-A, Hangry Joe is my new bestie.

Not bad chicken was pretty good sauce was just ok I wasn’t a fan at all and the frys are super crispy and pretty good but seem greasy and fill you up fast they seemed more like a funnel cake than frys.
