Worst biriyani in Ontario. Poorest customer service in Canada. Awful atmosphere and bad smells inside the restaurant. When we had complained about the quality/taste about the biriyani, server had no reaction and expression. Although we heard bad comments from the kitchen about us. Never come back to this Handi Biriyani Cambridge again. Date visited: 23 March, 2024 10.45pm
A few days ago (Sunday Night), we visited this restaurant but unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations given the price and the quality. Despite a disappointing experience last summer, we decided to give it another chance this year, hoping for an improvement. However, it seems that nothing has changed. The chicken dish was particularly disappointing, as it was dry and lacked freshness. While the dosa was enjoyable, it was served only with sambar, initially missing the chutney. When the server failed to deliver the chutney, the chef shouted at her loudly, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone present. This incident highlighted a concerning lack of professionalism and respect within the workplace. Such behavior is unacceptable, and it has left us with no desire to return to this establishment.
The Biriyani that we had was the worst. Poor customer service as well. The restaurant smells very bad. We also complained to the server regarding the food and he never bothered to say anything, not even a sorry. Inspite he headed back to the kitchen and was laughing a loud with his coworkers teasing us which was NOT ACCEPTABLE. We left our food there and paid for the food. I would NEVER ever recommend this restaurant. Here is my record of visit: 23rd of March, 2024 at 10.45PM. Food ordered: chicken ghee roast biriyani.
I ordered the biryani but it tasted terrible and the food was very tasteless.
