Halibut House Fish & Chips

We had a breakfast with my family . Server is nice and their service is fast . Its a big portion for the price compare to other restaurant near the area . We’ll be back for sure !

Normally good food Fries had clearly been cooked and then placed again into oil. Couldn't eat them. Fish was average.

Not one to post negative reviews but Treating my whole family to dinner turned out to be a big mistake . I didn’t know you could screw up French fries but they found a way. They were so hard you couldn’t eat them and they refused to own up to the mistake. Do not recommend this place.

First time at this location. Take out. Really greasy Fish not cooked enough. Won't go back.

Really sad. We have been going to Halibut House in this location for literally years but have not been there for more than a year. Last night we went and had Halibut and Chips. The fish was good. A little small which is fine if the taste is good which it was. The chips however were terrible. The chips are a big part of "fish and chips". They were dry, way to crispy and not much potato inside. We each ate only a handful. When asked if everything was ok we said the fish was good but the chips were not good at all, in fact terrible. The waitress who was friendly enough apologized, however when the bill came there was no compensation for us not eating our fries. Now, my husband and I take responsibility for not demanding a refund on the chips, which again were 95% remaining on each of our plates and again, we did tell her they were awful. However we did not express a refund wish on the fries. We honestly thought a place of business would take the necessary steps to make the customers happy especially since our bill was in excess of $52. We would have been happy with a free diet coke! But now, us ever going back is in serious doubt. If you do go be ready with a little speech about the chips so you don't get charged for a massively sub par product.

Food was tasty and a good portion size.
