Hako

Great Katsu, store is small but fast service. Can get busy during lunch/ dinner time. Portion is reasonable and good price! Will come back.

Had the Hako Tonkatsu with curry and it was amazing. Nice crisp katsu, tender pork, amazing dipping sauce and amazing curry flavor. Would definitely come back!

Curry tonkatsu was good! I ordered the spicy one, it has a lot of sauce and the rice was good too. A lot of parking space.

I'd give the karaage (fried chicken) and takoyaki 4 stars but the rest of the food 5 stars for value. (There's honestly better katsu out there, but the portions here are generous and the quality pretty good for what you're paying.) If you're going with a group and consider the portions too large, consider splitting fewer katsu plates and adding some side dishes. They also have some of the most reasonably priced drinks I've seen at an OC restaurant. Note that they're really popular. Eat outside peak hours or expect to wait up to an hour.

We go here with the family all the time. I have two toddlers and they love the noodles here.
