Hakka Express

American Born Taiwanese here and find this to be some of the best executed Hakka food around. Genuinely feels like good home cooking or something you’d find in one of the casual street stalls/restaurants in Taiwan. Recommend the beef stew noodle soup. I tried with knife cut noodles which was a little dense so you may want to try with the thinner wheat noodles. We also usually get the scrambled egg with shrimp (comfort food) and a stir fried vegetable with garlic (water spinach is a favorite, if available) They’re cash only though they do accept Venmo.

I love this place. They got the best taiwanese food. I especially love their chicken sesame noodle soup. FYI, they only take cash

This is my favorite casual spot for noodles!!! I always get the Szechwan beef noodle soup with rice noodles! It’s always too much for me to finish so I always split with someone else. I highly recommend!!

Hot and authentic, what else could you ask for. Highly recommend any of the meat on rice options for an affordable tasty dinner. Many other good options to try in the food court as well. Speaking of the food court it was a bit lacking in the AC department but hey it’s Texas.
