Racist and rude establishment.

Good ice cream

Says they close at 11:30 on Saturdays but we cam at 10:45 and the doors were locked and they said they were closed.

2 Asian workers and security working on 1/10/2024 around 6:30 were rude and racist. My friends and I always come here after events and love the two Ethiopian man and woman that work here however. On 1/10/2024 I sat down to wait for a friend who was parking and adamantly wanted ice cream. Again we always frequent this Haagen Dazs. I sat down to wait for them as they would be in in a few short minutes. While I was waiting the security officer who was sitting at a table in front of me told me that to sit I would need to purchase something. I told him I was waiting for my friend who would be in shortly. He turned and continued on his phone. Then, the Asian worker in the Haagen Dazs yelled to me that for me to sit there I needed to order something. I told her that my friend would be ordering in a few short minutes when they arrived. She abruptly told me no and that I needed to get up. I said okay got up and stood. Then walks over a Caucasian woman and sits down. The security guard says nothing to her. The Asian worker yells at the woman that in order to sit, she needed to purchase something. The Caucasian woman says that she’s waiting for a friend (the exact same thing I said). The Asian woman says okay and proceeds to allow her to sit. Amazed at the interaction I then sit down again, only for the security guard to then tell me again that I needed to order something to sit, as he still at this point says absolutely nothing to the Caucasian woman. I have never had such blatant racism happen and it is very disheartening as I have grown up coming into this establishment and has been a fond memory of mine. Hopefully others will have a better story to tell about this business but I unfortunately cannot recommend to anyone.
