Great quality...everything was delicious. Service was superb
Love this place! Personally I prefer Japanese BBQ over Korean BBQ tho there are so many good Korean BBQ places in town. But the only less good thing of here is you have to cook for yourself. And that requires a lot of attention. Usually after a while I would be too busy eating to perfectly look after the meat, so I would have to have some burnt meat.
This gyukaku is far better than the Addison location; it is substantially cleaner and the food quality is handled better. Please open another location closer to downtown! The only thing stopping me from visiting more often is the long drive.
Gyu-Kaku is a great restaurant and apparently it is a great one no matter the location. We reserved a table for a birthday dinner for 4 but we had to increase the size to 6 and it was very easy. Website was user friendly. And once we had to call to make adjustments they sent us a text to confirm.
The service was great from start to finish. If you have questions about how to order and what is your party is eligible to order, they will be patient enough to explain everything.
The food was amazing as we ordered a la carte and got a great assortment. Would definitely recommend
I came here for my bday and we enjoyed ourselves! The server was amazing and he recommended some amazing meats and appetizers! They come in small quantities so we got to try a lot of items!
I've been here a handful of times. While it is good overall, one star is deducted because of some visits with bad experiences. Overall, the meats are high quality, and taste good. The spicy cabbage is a great entree to offset the saltiness of the meats. Other favorites are the tongue, kalbi, salmon, garlic shrimp, harami, pork belly, garlic noodles, karage.
I recommend making a reservation online prior to coming. Use the app to save whatever you can. It is on the pricey side.
I can only speak for the lunch special, not the ayce menu or dinner menu.
The service is fast and good, the dark atmosphere is very nice, and the food is good.
The lunch special is an especially good value. Salad, soup, rice, and two portions of meat for you to cook for around 15 dollars.
The smokeless barbeque claim is mostly true, I don't feel the need to change my clothes after eating here.
service is good. but the food is really bad. very salty compared to my other Gyu-Kaku experience. will never come again.
Very nice atmosphere, food and experience. I love that I get to cook my own food preseason.
They have plenty options on the menu so I would recommend to look at the menu beforehand. If not, the servers are very helpful. We had Isaiah as our server. Thank you for having patience answering questions we had. The dessert and chicken garlic noodles were the showstopper. Will come again!
I love their dessert. Service was ok..
4th time here and never disappointed. good food & service
