Founded in 1858, Gundlach Bundschu is a sixth-generation winery making serious wines minus the serious attitude. We are the oldest family-owned and -operated winery in California, located just outside the town of Sonoma. Known as an estate-driven, regenerative organically farmed winery, we focus on Bordeaux reds and cool climate varietal wines plus gewurztraminer. We’re deeply involved in the arts, hosting concerts at the winery and creating unique, innovative content.
