Guapo’s Taqueria & Charcoal Chicken

I visited this restaurant over the weekend, and it was quite busy. The ambience was decent. I ordered street style tacos vegetable, and it has mushrooms. (heads up for non-mushroom lovers like me) My family members enjoyed the street style chicken tacos; they felt the chicken was grilled perfectly. I also tried the yucca side dish(potato), which was good. However, the nachos platter was unique and didn't appeal to me much. On the upside, the mangonada was delightful. Overall, the ambience and food were okay.

Paid an extra $2 for yucca which they never gave me and my 1/2 chicken was more like 1/4 chicken….very disappointed after waiting over 20 minutes

Music is TOO LOUD!!! Best for take out only but sub par food. If you want cheap it’s what you’ll get. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, eggs were basically very raw. I can taste the tin can on the beans. Rice is bleh I would probably just stick with tacos no sides and no drinks bc it’s not worth it. I had quesadillas and tacos Quesadillas are bleh Tacos are meh They give you no free chips or anything. Just sauces in little cups. They serve everything for dine in on plastic ♻️ yuck!! If Taco Bell is Mexican for you then this is a great compatible place. The inside is clean. The staff is nice. Plenty of free parking. Would I go again? Nope. Full stop I won’t continue sharing negative experience coming from high expectations. Thanks but no thanks not for me. Parking: It’s in a shopping center so lots of free parking

I like their chicken, much better than the fast food fried chicken. Pay before you eat with quick service to enjoy the meal.
