Had a good empanada here. Definitely gonna come back to try the rest of the menu. Update: service was helpful and the fiesta plate was very filling
Finally tried this place and I got to say for $20 plus dollars, it was a disappointment. Found this place through friends and portion of food was the only good thing about it. I had the Fiesta plate and the chicken and ribs were tough and cold. I had high hopes and was excited to finally try this place. Lady who said she was the owner was very nice.
Wow! Absolutely delicious food. Found via a Google search, read the reviews, gave it a try. I am so glad I did. The chicken and ribs were delicious. The shrimp and veggies fritter was yummy. The rice and potato salad good. Tried all 3 sauces-so good, especially the spicy one. The lumping so so, but the empenadas were DIVINE!!!! And the gal who was at the register, so kind and so informative. Maybe she was the owner. Will make the drive from Bellevue to have this again!!!!!!!!!!! Parking: Outdoor mall parking lot Kid-friendliness: In a food court, easy for kids
I was so surprised at the expensive pricing because they need to pay rent. I ordered a fiesta plate, 2 empanadas and a BBQ chicken kelaguen wrap. Too bad everything was so bland for my Chamorro taste from what my nan taught me. I was very disappointed with the taste. I hope they do better and become successful.
So as we walked up, we were happily greeted with the a warm Hafa Adai! Instantly off to a good start. The service was nice and very helpful. She also made sure to ask if we were allergic to shellfish as the shrimp cake was included in the Fiesta Platter. Long story short. It was everything I remember food from Guam tasting like. Very happy with the amount of food for the money and the amazing service! I can't wait to come back.
Excellent service extraordinary delicious food. I will highly recommend this authentic place. Try everything.
Everything I have had there was delicious. It is authentic Guam food made by people that care about the food they are serving and the culture behind it. They usually post about extra menu items they will have available outside their regular menu. I highly recommend you try the food. If you are from Guam and are looking for a taste of home, this is the place to go. Thank you for being here Guam Grub.
Great assortment of foods I remember eating on Guam when I was a kid. Loved the food and the hospitality. Easy access right inside the mall's food court door.
Authentic guam food. Reminded me of home
This place is in a mall food court, so the atmosphere isn't the best. It's noisy, lots of people running around while you eat. I do have to say, if you take it out of context and rate the food and service, both were great. The food was on point. Coming from a Chamorro family that ran one of the best chamorro food restaurants, Y Kusina, in Guam and doing catering, my expectations are usually high and this place checked all the boxes. So far, this is the only place I've found north of Seattle that did it right. I'd highly recommend this for locals who want their fix or someone who isn't experienced with Guam food, to try an accurate representation of what our CHamoru food should be. A+ the prices are fair, service is great and portions just right. I'm a 220lb man and they gave me enough food. They even tossed in a little extra for an extended wait on the pancit. Parking: Open and lots of it. Wheelchair accessibility: I was using crutches at the time, but I found the side door was easily accessible for wheelchair users, having just gotten off the chair myself. I was more aware of this.
