A little disappointed with the sauage. It was over cooked.

Great atmosphere, food and service...

I took a group of 11 girls here on a Sunday morning before our shopping experience in Gruene. The grounds are a stunning backdrop for this little gem. We were seated in under 30 min, had exceptional service, wonderful food options, a good GF menu & the most beautiful view on their tree house like deck. I highly recommend anyone go for a day trip to Gruene, visit the dance hall and hit all the cute shops along the way. Great for families with kids who want to run and play & friends out for the day. Kid-friendliness: Thumbs up

This restaurant has great food. They are very big and busy, but they are on top of things, we had a great time and will be back

Great service and delicious food .

Rustic, unique restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, many of which have river views and multi levels. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food is delicious. Parking: There is a 3 section large free parking lot that is within a close proximity. A large free parking area across the river with a shuttle and free street parking.

Love the food, atmosphere, and the friendly service! The Gristmill River Restaurant has never let me down in the 25 +yrs that I have been going! Great job guys!
