A first time visitor on a Friday evening (01/19/24), here is my take on the experience: they were busy, but extremely welcoming, and in no way did it feel like it was intimidating to await a table. A very kind hostess greeted us, and helped to steer us to a table. The food portions are like what a family meal is about, and the home-made spaghetti sauce was excellent. In today's busy, short-attention-span world of mindless, TikTok'ed idiot experiences, this first visit was like experiencing something as it should be. We would tell there were regulars there as well as maybe 'non-frequent' customers, and that sense of community was just amazingly comfortable. It's kind of hard to even describe other than a quick 'Mayberry meets practical with awesomeness' impression, which to me, means a lot. Too many moments anymore of rushed/processed interactions that occur with customer service in so many areas, but this visit was just as it should be: comfortable, great people, great atmosphere, great food, a very kind server, a manager who even checked with us at one point; it was like I was able to not have to think about the insanity of the rest of the world for a little while, and just enjoy a meal in a comfortable setting. How often can one say that they were really comfortable at a food service? It's little things like that that really add up to making us wanting to make this place a regular go-to, and that is much appreciated. Online reviews may be across the board in pertinent context to the reader, but for this reviewer, this restaurant hit the mark on all points of value.
