Grape Britannia

We visited as a group of 5 for an hour or so on Christmas Eve afternoon. It was great to be able to buy small glasses of wine either just to taste something we hadn’t tried before or with a view to buying a bottle. We came away with a bottle of Welsh fizz and an English red. The two guys running Grape Britannia that afternoon were welcoming and answered any questions my husband had. Their knowledge of what they were selling was almost encyclopaedic. It was a very positive experience.

Outstanding in every way. Why buy a coffee nearby when you can sit at a table and have a glass of local wine? Be aware though that their on premises drinking licence is not for every day.

Matt curated a brilliant wine tasting and then ordered all of the wine for our wedding. He paired the wines with our dishes and provided a lot of guidance on what to choose. The wine went down incredibly well with all the guests. Numerous people commented on the delicious Saffron Grange sparkling wine. The whole experience was very straight forward and enjoyable from start to forward with great communication from Matt and Natalie.
