Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration

We really enjoyed our stay here. 5 nights with my wife and two kids for a week of Disney fun. Yes the room wasn’t the cleanest and up to date but the rest of the hotel was 5 star! We loved the pools and outside bar area. Starbucks in reception was great for and quick drinks or breakfast. Location was great and the carpark is huge. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property - Jonathan at the Front Desk is AMAZING!!! First hotel that I've ever stayed at that gives you your resort fee back in onsite credit. SUCH a perk. The breakfast buffet is so so delicious and the Disney + Universal shuttles are fab, also a Starbucks in the lobby and fitness classes daily!!! Huge fan of this hotel, much more value than the price that you pay for it. One weird thing is that the cleaning staff does not work after 6pm so if anything happens you cannot get your room cleaned until the next day.

Flew in With my wife and son Just for them to tell me a pipe burst in my room .They were trying to give me a room with just a Queen Sofa pull out bed which wouldn’t have worked.Why wasn’t I made aware of this until I arrived LATE NIGHT.No accommodations or anything.Yea 0 stars if I could.

Just stayed there for a work convention. Just found out that you guys add gratuity to every restaurant/bar transaction. Funny how everytime I threw my credit card down, I never got an itemized receipt. Also, the credit card slip should have reflected that gratuity was already added and should have said "additional gratuity" on the line. Very dirty way of nickel and diming your guests. That's straight up stealing.

I am seriously shocked and disappointed. We checked in at 130am so I'm not sure why we paid for an extra day we weren't there. Then we were hit with a resort fee of $25/day. When asked about what that was they try and make you feel better by giving you $25 "vouchers" for food and beverage but it's not really helpful because your basically paying for them in the end. The first 2 days every time cleaning ladies came in they would turn the heat on. Like it's Florida it's 80° why were they doing that. Then the last 3 days they kept putting the do not disturb sign on the door and then no one would come in. So we had no new towels, restocked toilet paper, trash taken out, needs made. Every time we used the toilet it would clog up. When you called down to the front office sometimes they answered and sometimes they didn't. Just over all not great.

Zero stars! This was the worst stay my family has ever had in any hotel and we have stayed in hotels all over the country and the world. 1. The room had a horrible moldy smell and rust in different areas. Even the ice container had rust. 2. There were ants all over our room and we had to throw all the food we bought because the ants got into them. 3. The toilet flooded. 4. The elevator in our hallway stopped working. 5. We had to use the stairs. 6. There was a homeless person laying under the staircase. Our girls were terrified to use the stairs. 7. There were NO security cameras in the building with the rooms. There was one security guard we saw twice during the entire stay. He was useless. 8. The men's toilet in the lobby flooded and covered half the lobby area. 9. It took 30mins to check in. 10. There were dirty bed linens covering the hallways daily. 11. The staff was overwhelmed. It took 25mins before someone even acknowledged that I was standing at the restaurant bar trying to order food. Because we stayed there as a group, we could not cancel or leave for another hotel. But our short vacation for our teens was ruined. We originally felt safe staying at this hotel because it was a Marriott hotel. But this place is a dump and should not be open to the public. Then they refused to add point to my account because we got a group rate. To be honest, we should not have paid to stay in a hotel this horrible.

THEY GO INTO YOUR ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!!! The cleaning lady went into my room twice, even though I had the do not disturb sign, the first time I noticed because they only took the garbage out, the second time they even put the do not disturb sign inside my room and took the garbage out again, I went to the front desk the only thing they did was sent an email to management. Definitely will not be staying here again everything else was fine, but they don’t respect privacy, luckily nothing was missing but they don’t respect privacy.

After arriving from a very long flight late at night and accompanied by children we were looking forward to much needed rest however checked into our hotel to find this! Granted they did send housekeeping to tidy up the room so we had to leave and wait…..when I asked for general manager information they responded with “hotel is full, check with the front desk tomorrow” Unacceptable!

I loved this hotel. But everything was pricey. Lots of additional fees! Then there's some sort of 25 dollar gift card per day but the food prices are excessive. And the servers try to take extra gratuity.
