Graeter's Ice Cream

Great ice cream!

Stopped in for some ice cream after eating at bourbon and Toulouse. It was phenomenal! We had the midnight snack ice cream which was chocolate covered pretzels, brownie, and chocolate peanut butter cups in a creamy milky ice cream flavor. Delicious!!!

I loved the flavors! The price is good and it was a nice place to stop by at night.

i always take out. the confined space coupled with some not excellent experiences i have had at other graeters give me too much anxiety to eat in. i always get two pints of black raspberry chip and pay like a good soldier boy before leaving. however, the employees often send dirty looks my way, although i am rarely exhibiting odd or off putting behavior in the establishment.

My fiancé and I love to come here to get the one and only Graeter’s ice cream. Their ice cream is uniquely made in small batches using French pots, and you can definitely taste the difference: the ice cream is richer and creamier than your average scoop. This chain has an incredible history, with it being founded by a couple in 1870 and brought to prominence by the matriarch of the Graeter’s family. This was all, of course, during a time when women rarely owned businesses, and she was highly scrutinized for her efforts. She kept going despite the backlash, and I applaud her! The business thrived under her expertise, and I am so glad it did! Their ice cream is luscious and refreshing, and they have SO many flavours! My favourite is their blue Cotton Candy ice cream; it is not overly sweet, so I can easily finish a double scoop helping in a cup. My fiancé likes to get their “1870 Tower”, which celebrates the year the company was founded. It consists of Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, chocolate bundt cake, hot fudge, fresh whipped cream, pecans and a cherry. If that creation doesn’t sound like heaven on earth, I don’t know what does! The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. The ice cream parlour is charmingly decorated in that classic Graeter’s style, with French accents in the furnishings. I definitely recommend this Graeter’s location for delicious, consistent ice cream! Parking: There is a paid parking garage attached to this location. Kid-friendliness: Ice cream. Need I say more?

Graeter’s Ice Cream is the best in the world!! There is a reason they have been around for over 150 years!!!

Love love Graeter’s, they have the most delicious ice cream year round and I love their seasonal flavors as well. Last night the manager made me a little special that’s not on the menu and it was so good! Their staff are always attentive, patient, and kind
