Gordon Tavern

We really enjoyed our time during late night happy hour. We got the midnight stroll cocktail, romaine salad, truffle fries, hot Italian pizza and the wagyu burger. Everything was tasty, especially the truffle fries!

The food was cold, bland, disgusting. The atmosphere is an absolute vibe however.

I love the atmosphere of this place. The drinks are also very good. The problems start with the food. We took my mother here for her 70th birthday and it took over an hour to get food on the table. When it did arrive the $50 steak she ordered was cold even though it hit the table first. Our server sort of disappeared so I think our order must have sat for some time. This is the second time we have experienced food like this last time the steak was burnt on one side (the side that was down). Stick with the burgers if you visit. They can’t seem to do a steak right. Disappointed. ☹️

I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit to the Gordon Tavern. The atmosphere is wonderful, be sure to look at the ceiling art. The eggs bene was very good, pictured is the half order. The cocktails were also lovely. We came in from the ice storm and we very pleased we chose to walk a little further than we wanted to and found this gem.

A+++ This is a great place to be! Service was quick, and the food was straight out of the oven. We hit happy hour and got chicken sliders, truffle fries, and two pizzas for $42. It was so much food that we bought an entire pizza back to our room. Will eat again

Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. You definitely attract a higher caliber clientele coming to this place so for anyone in business or looking for a great place for date night, I highly recommend this and Carlita’s Rooftop on the 7th floor
