Small shop run by older Chinese women, a little grumpy but they get business done. They’re fast so the lines that curve around don’t matter. Tried the baked pork bun and sticky rice with pork were good and flavorful.
I have had a mixed experience here. Very good dim sum foods for sure, expected to wait in a line outside but the line moves pretty fast, it also appears that the numbers labeled outside on the windows while you wait doesn’t correlate with the actual menu inside the building. One lady that was getting our foods was very rude, she literally was yelling the whole time. They also preferred cash.
Sadly food was dry and not hot at all. It used to be really good when I visited before pandemic.
This place is so over rated. Food was average at best. Definitely not worth waiting in line for 45 minutes. What’s worse is they treat customers with contempt.
Food was totally not worth it for the long wait, the pork shumai were cold and the meat was chewy and gross. The steamed pork buns were eh but had way too much dough and the paper stuck to it really badly. The service was terrible, the ladies were rude, were arguing with each other as they served us, and barely even glanced at me before moving on to the next customer (despite the line still taking forever). I would not come here again, was very disappointed. Better dim sum places next door
This place is bit over rated, it had become famous for being famous. The pineapple buns and pork sui Mai is good but clearly not better than few others in the area ( FYI, I’m only comparing to these low end dimsum place). Many other mid to high end dimsum restaurants will blow this away with ease. I definitely think the long line and wait isn’t worth it.
