Emerson is always friendly

The lady working the good foods cafeteria on March 25 2024 at 525 pm has a nasty attitude and didn't want to do her job! She was rude and should not be working there if she can not be nice to paying customers!

Love going there. Lots to choose from..

Huge food co-op. Has almost everything. Way too cold in summer, not quite warm enough in winter. Dress appropriately. Has a food section. The sushi was okay. Update: they've gotten the note that it's way too cold in summer, it seems. Also the sushi has improved.

I’ve been going here for nearly a decade and realized I haven’t written a review yet. The people who work here get abused by a lot of rude customers and despite all those people, they still remain kind and willing to serve. I have waited in line behind countless disgruntled customers that have no business being in a public grocery store/cafe continuously verbally assault and make rude remarks at the fine people who work here. And in all these years I’ve never once seen or encountered a rude employee. They are kind and they are human too! Please treat these people with respect and give them some great healthcare please.

Best selection of organic veggies, free range, and grass fed/finished meats in town (well … along with the Lex farmers market). Both great spots if you seek health and inspiration when it comes to food while also supporting your local community. Vote with your dollars y’all.

I personally love this place I think it is very welcoming and has lovely food and good prices but that being said the reason it doesn't get a 5/5 is because there is a woman running the cafe side register she has black braids with two blonde pieces in the front I do not know her name but she is incredibly rude she was not only rude and short with me but my sister as well then she did not tell anyone about my drink order and I didn't get it within 30 minutes and had to go back up there the man who helped me was very kind but again she was just being overall rude she laughed out loud at a customer in front of other customers because he dropped something and she was standing at the register on her phone just overall not a very good employee and I hope good foods will try to better their staff
