Food OK, but they can't cook chips
We have recently moved to the village and thought we would try the local Chinese, we ordered 2 mains, a rice, a side dish and some prawn crackers, we were surprised this all come to under £19 (our previous Chinese charged nearly £30 for the same order) I was sceptical from the price as to how the quality may differ but I can hands down say it is up there with one of the best Chinese takeaway meals I’ve had! Cheap, tasty and quick service - we will definitely return !
Ordered chicken with cashew nuts, got home to find something completely different..! The other item I ordered (lemon chicken) had virtually no taste, and there were no prawn crackers provided…. Not a good experience or value for money, won’t be back.
My favourite Chinese takeaway, lovely food and lovely staff
Good food, but unfriendly woman at the desk. They do not take card payments
As far as Chinese takeaways go, this is a very good one. Curry and chow mein are very tasty and neither scrimp on the meat. The meat itself is good quality, especially the roast duck. Price is reasonable.
Stopped on the way home from work as the restaurant is on the way, first time I've used it and was not impressed, sweet and sour chicken balls were nice but that's about it. The chicken chop suet didnt taste nice at all I usually keep the leftovers for the next day to take to work but sadly it's going in the bin! Prawn crackers had no taste apart from cooking oil. I actually feel a bit sick now. I cant even describe the chop suey it just tasted awful and slimy. I wont be visiting again
This was just about the worst takeaway ever. The chicken balls were swimming in grease and the chow mein was literally slimy with grease. Never again thank-you.
Lovely food - cooked quickly and reasonably priced
