Gong cha Georgetown

Ice cream is freshly made from scratch, It does make the ice cream grainy but it does taste quite good. The place outside looked unfinished but they were sending out free samples for atmosphere.

Spider landed on my leg, kind of gross. The jelly boba was very hard

I ordered a lemon yogurt drink with strawberry pearls and they completely forgot it. Kinda frustrating having to pay extra for no reason...

Came here about 30 minutes before close. The dining room was packed. No seats anywhere but seemed like things were winding down for the night. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean. I was very excited to get tea here because I loved the one in Orlando. Ordered the oolong milk tea light ice and light sugar with boba. Was very disappointed. Boba was overcooked having a mush texture with little flavor. Drink didn't have much tea flavor. I ended up throwing away over half of my drink because it tasted like I was just drinking flavorless calories. I was bummed because I was very excited to see a gong cha nearby.

A bit slow, but still a consistent experience.

Very spacious and quick with the order screens and the time it took for our to be given. Prices were high but expected with boba teas and smoothies. Calming cool environment.

My boys are always excited to visit Gong Cha in Georgetown, DC for bubble tea. There’s so many options and their drinks are always refreshing and delicious!

I go there just for the ice cream cone 😋
