Just tried for the first time but definitely not the last. I had the plant based rib tips and the taste and texture were just right! I appreciate a good plantbased meal as much as anyone. So glad to have this place near by.

Enjoyed the fried mushrooms tossed in barbecue sauce while fresh, but saved my fries and vegan tacos for the next day. They were still delicious.

I ordered the black bean burger and fries. It was delicious. And if you leave there hungry it is your own fault. There is a lot of food.

I recently visited Glo Jean’s that offers vegan cuisine options, and I was blown away by their mushroom burger and fries. The burger was a delightful blend of rich, umami flavors, with perfectly cooked mushrooms creating a meaty texture. Each bite was juicy and satisfying, complemented by fresh toppings and a house-made sauce that added just the right amount of zing. The fries were equally impressive—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned to perfection. They were the perfect accompaniment to the burger, making for a truly exceptional meal. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a standout vegan option, this place is a must-visit!

Went Wednesday 9/4. Saw the restaurant on Doordash, it was .3 miles away, I said I'm going 🤷. When you walk in, you immediately get hit with some GOOD food smells, which has you like:👀. So I talked to who was cooking, which was also the owner. Cool dude, very down to earth easy to talk to, believes in what he's making and selling, sure of himself. But not like in a brash or cocky way, like you FEEL that he's really about it. So we're chatting it up, and the options sound good, but like it's my first time idk what I want. The several things I narrowed it down to, are some of his best sellers anyway and basically says their all good. Part of me was like, of course YOU gonna say all YOUR stuff good 🙄, but there was a a sincerity in his confidence that seemed genuine. I'm rambling my bad 😭. Anyway, I i tried two things, the Vegan Gyro, and the Jerk turkey sliders. On both of them I got garlic fries. Let me start with the Vegan Gyro. BRO. That mf HIT. It was Immaculately seasoned. The pita was great, the onions were great, the tsaziki sauce was great, there was even that little authentic smidge of mint int here too, I loved it. Now, imma be real with you. I'm a big mf. I like food. Vegan, I am not. I LOVE meat (pause) Is it meat? No. Is it the texture of meat? No. It is a little softer, BUT it's otherwise very close. Would I eat ot OVER the same thing with normal gyro meat done the same way? I don't think so, but I'd put it on damn near equal footing. Like, I would definitely grab it again. 4.8/5 to me. On to the sliders. I shouldn't have gotten the pepper jack cheese. For me it wasn't like spicy-spicy, but it was just a little too spicy and overpowered some of the rest of the flavor IMO. The flavor was good, really good. The pickle was nice bright and sweet and cut through some of the seasoning and spice, really worked well with it. The Hawaiin rolls were good too, not overly sweet, and dense enough to hold everything together well with out being tough. I do admittedly think the Vegan Gyro was better. So like if the Gyro I said was a 4.8/5 this would be like a 4.5/5. Fries. The garlic fries were good as well. Like they we'rent greasey, but conversely they weren't dry either. They were what they should be. And the amount of garlic was really good. Now me, being a dalt friend, think they needed salt to round it out. I know others reviews said "they too damn salty" bruh, I tasted like little to none. But like I said, I'm a salt fiend, so that might be a "me" thing. The fries in preparation I'd give like a 4.75/5 flavor like a 4/5. I also grabbed a big alkaline water and a pop They were, exactly what they were lol. The only things that you could put as a negative I guess is two things. It takes time. A decent amount of time. You can't just grab and go. BUT there's a reason, it's made to order, cooked to order. Pretty much as fresh as you can manage with what he's doing. And i respect tf outta that. I would say, with knowing that definitely if you are time constrained order ahead. The other "negative" of you wanna put it like that, is it's nothing amazing to sit at. If you're waiting, and you will be waiting if you didn't order preemptively, it's kinda just like..eh I guess BUT, it's literally NOT a sit down restaurant, so like it makes sense.🤷 So that's my wholeass long-winded review. Like the guy think he's cool, food's great he knows what he's about, of you don't order early you'll have a decent wait. I'll be back DEFINITELY.
