I can recommend you to go there. Authentic Venice tourist restaurant style, that is a bit tacky, which creates an authentic charme. Service was great. Meal size and quality of tiramisu could be improved. The prices are good.

Very cozy place, the food was great and the team is so kind and friendly.

Old school Italian feel. Experience can vary based on where you’re seated as it’s a small place. Gnocchi and bolognese were great.

My husband and I hosted our rehearsal here last Saturday and I'm still in awe over how perfect and intimate it was. Enrico is absolutely amazing and took care of all of our 40 guests. Always made sure wine was pouring, incredibly friendly with each table, and attentive to all of our guest's dietary restrictions. Food was wonderful and well portioned. Great value and such a romantic back drop to welcome our close friends and family. An absolute gem of a place.

This is a great find tucked away in the middle of Dupont/downtown DC.The environment is welcoming, the food is hearty and delicious, the staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. We brought our families here for a pre-wedding meal and the ambience, food, and service were terrific. Highly recommend!

Review 1: Giovanni’s Trattu is a gem! From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. We started with the fried mozzarella, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The insalata Romana was fresh and full of flavor, making it a great way to start the meal. For our main course, we had the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana, both of which were cooked to perfection. The Alfredo was rich and creamy, and the chicken parm was crispy, juicy, and smothered in delicious marinara. The service was equally outstanding—our servers were so kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. To top it all off, the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had! Light, creamy, and the perfect ending to a flawless meal. I can’t wait to return!

The food selection and flavors were wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. I'll be returning when I'm in DC again.😊

They said that the didn't have available space to have a dinner, but we booked it online 5 min after! Don't waste your time!

Открыли сайт и было доступно бронирование на любое время, т.е если мы прямо сейчас забронировали бы стоя перед ними, то у них чудом появились бы места. Решили не оставаться, настроение уже было испорчено

Amazing food. I was beyond happy with every dish we tried. The drinks were perfect. The atmosphere feels authentic and cozy. We will be returning next time we are in DC.

The ambience was pretty good. Unfortunately, the food was neither authentic nor good. The complementary bread was clearly not fresh, dry and not sufficiently baked and only served with flavourless olive oil. The water is the funky tasting DC tap water. My risotto with frutti di mare must've had poorly cleaned mussels in it, because there was sand everywhere. The pinot noir was, despite its price, clearly cheap.

We absolutely loved our experience! Everything we had was amazing and tasted great!
