Gilman Brewing Company Taproom and Gastropub

A little pricey but its a chill pub. And the pizza is really good!!!

Gilman makes some of my favorite beers in the bay area. Always try to stop by when I'm in the area!

Beer was good, i hate that i was not able to talk to the people behind the counter and had to order through the automated ordering system, will not be returning till this system is out

Been here twice. I want to like this place, and the beer is good enough, and the pizza is fine for that style, but what kind of monster that hates their staff and doesn't understand that cash is making you more money prices a beer so that it comes out to $8.04? Every pro bartender I know would round that to 8 and make it up on the tip jar at the end of the night to just speed up service. They only had two people on staff, one person making pizzas, and one person literally doing everything else in the shop. Dude was doing his best, and did me a solid with a free halfie later when the keg blew on my order and he was in the weeds, so it's not his fault. The owner(s?) are obviously some people with a MBA and a business plan and no service experience that decided to spend money on branding their 3 different kinds of to-go containers and little sheets of paper under the pizzas over staff. And this location specifically just feels like a pub-in-a-strip-mall in suburban Dallas. Is it a business park? is it a restaurant? is it a pub? And for real, put some sound-deadening into the space. Yeah, I know, loud and echoey is supposed to make it feel "lively", but the only people coming here are coming from the movies across the square, and if you'd like them to hang out for more than one drink, work on the space a bit more.

First visit during a crazy storm. Plant based pizza options were awesome. Loved the beer selection. Will definitely return.

First time trying out wanting to support local business. Cashier was disinterested and not helpful with general questions. Ordered the Meatzza Pizza. Came out quickly, but too bad it was oily and salty. Bread was good. In all, $41 with a beer without tax. You guys decide.

Cool spot I found driving around the area, good beers and nice Detroit style pizza.

Beer is great. Pizza looks amazing but a little too greeesy. Overall 5 stars!

Beer was decent. Pizza was decent as well. Service was far less than good. AND......they had the audacity to add a service fee to my tab!! I will opt to pass on Gilman in the future.

Friendly, helpful service, nice decor and ambiance, great beer selection, and we enjoyed our food: the cheese pizza, and braised Brussels sprouts. We saw the Brussels sprouts on the online menu, but didn’t see it at the ordering console onsite – the cashier was able to order it for us. This is a good option for eating before a movie. The food comes out quickly, and it’s right next to the garage south of the theater.
