Decided to treat myself to a good cheese whilst shopping in this snowy weather. I bought a Truffle Delice de Bourgogne... its delicious! Thank you so much. I paired with Fig & fennel chutney, devine.

My wife and I attended a cheese tasting event at your shop last Friday evening. My wife and I are both cheese lovers, and I’d bought two tickets for this evenings event as a Christmas present for my wife. I’d originally seen the experience on the Uniquely Local website at a cost of £40 each for a 2 hour experience. How ever I decided to purchase the experience direct from yourselves as I believed it was the same event due to it being priced the same. We arrived at 7:30pm, this evening and left at 8:20pm, a time of 50 minutes. We were given 4 different cheeses to taste and a glass of wine. From looking at the photographs on both your website and the Uniquely Local site I got the impression that we would be tasting more than just the 4 cheeses provided, especially given that the shop was full of different cheeses, and that the evening would last much longer than what it actually was. To spend £80 on a 50 minute experience I do not consider it to be either of great value nor particularly good value. My wife and I live in Harrogate and have attended local cheese tasting events before. I am sorry to have to send you such disappointing feedback, but I thought that you should be aware of how we feel.

Best cheese shop around! Staff are always friendly and willing to give advice..plus cheese tasting on the counter is a treat!(Gorgonzola I believe today ) Also stock a range of wine/beer and other accompanying food stuff..some fresh bakes/pastries etc are all delicious! Well worth a visit

Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a great range of cheeses are complemented by all the accoutrements, including varieties of cracker, pies and some fine alcohol. Having all of these options in front of you is a joy.
