We were there for a funeral tea which was really nice and a good mix of sandwiches, cake and fruit, although the person behind the bar was very slow serving tea and coffee

28 of us attended a Christmas lunch in mid December 2023. To cater for a group of this size, is was obviously essential to preorder and prepay . But this was a straightforward forward process, and a few late bookings and out of the norm requests were taken in their stride by the management. On the day, all 28 of u s had piping hot tasty food, (mainly turkey roast- it was Christmas after all!) which was served efficiently and with a smile. I also felt, and everyone I spoke to within our group agreed, that the meal represented excellent value for money. Parking: The pub has a massive yard which is its car park. Can’t imagine there’s ever an problem parking at this pub
