Today, Sunday the 14th (cloudy & cold day), I was in a bit of a rush but hoping to order Garnetts and decided to call pickup to go. It was around 4:25 PM, which is 25 minutes after they open. I tried calling 3 times over the course of 10 minutes, but no one would answer. I know they often times chose not to answer while busy, but I figured with the weather & it not even being 5 yet, I'd go in & see if i could get quick pickup. Sure enough, there are 3 tables that have people of the total 8 or 9, & the rest of the restaurant is empty, except for the staff who often work there but weren't today, occupying most of the bar and talking to eachother. I asked the waiter if the phones were broken, and she told me no, they just turn off the phone when busy. This was after she looked at the phone, confirming that she turned it off, and still said this with the restaurant as is. 3 tables, 7 total customers, well under half capacity, not even 5 o'clock & your staff choses to turn off the phone by design.The owner was not in today, so posting this for his awareness. This is what people who enjoy your business & want to be regulars get frustrated by. Your staff was more concerned about small talking today in their group at the restaurant, than looking after the customers you work so hard to attract. Very poor experience
