I thought the food was really good! I got gimmari, jajangmyeon and their kimchi. Wish I got a second order of the gimmari, it was the perfect afternoon pick me up. Very hearty portion of black bean sauce with the jajangmyeon - it was very tasty! Kimchi was perfect. Staff seems very nice. Completely out of kimbap when I was there - hope to try that at a later date
I got the Spicy pork rice bowl and this dish was so yummmy, they also added the side dishes (broccoli, bean sprout, and japchae) in it underneath the pile of delicious pork!!! I also got the Korean cheese corn dog, the batter was so fluffy and crispy and the sauce was soooo goood!!! I originally came for the Kimbap but they had a sign on it saying it wasn't available. Please keep it on the menu!!!
I'm happy this restaurant exists as sometimes I really don't want to sit down and eat Korean food. I just want a relaxing night at home, and the take out boxes are convenient. The quality and portion of food is great for the price. I had the spicy bulgogi beef dinner box and felt the meat was great. Lots of high quality cuts and not too much fat. Food was spicy but it wasn't overbearing as you can taste the other flavors. However, I give this 4/5 as I feel the amount of japchae and white rice could be better balanced. It's a lot of carbohydrates in the plate. I feel it'll be better if they give you half the rice and japchae with additional side dishes. The kimchi can also be soaked longer to give it more flavor.
I'm 100% Korean, I lived in South Korea for a few years and visit often because I have a big family. I also know how to cook Korean dishes and cuisine, nothing I ordered tasted good from this so called restaurant. I should have read the reviews before I spent over $100 on my Grubhub order. This place is a disgrace to all Korean restaurants, I tried calling to see if I can talk to somebody over at the restaurant to ask for the owners contact information and the phone just keeps ringing. The soondubu jige was bland and had absolutely zero veggies which is weird plus the chicken bulgogi might as well be retitled as teriyucki chicken. All the authentic Korean restaurants are off of Bradshaw and Folsom and Watt Ave. Pine Tree House, Sa Rang Bang, Blue House, OZ BBQ, YD Tofu House and Jiu Jiu Korean BBQ (formerly known as Korea House).
Food was good and I thought the price was fair as well.
Great quick Korean favs, glad we found it
They are definitely inexperienced with orders and customers at the moment or at least when i visited today to door dash. Arrived 2 minutes early at 5:09 pm, it took them 2 minutes to realize I was even in the building. The lady told me it would be 5-10more minutes, it took almost 10 which wasnt a big deal until she printed the wrong receipt for the order and forgot to have one dish made, so i had to wait 20 minutes in total. For an order pick up at 5:11 pm, I wasny able to leave with order in hand until 5:31. Havent tried the food myself, the place is clean, looks as new should be for a grand opening sign, but customer service and order handling leaves much to be desired
Microwaved "to-go" korean food for top dollar
There's no " gangnam " about this place. First time at this place didn't know what to expect. I ordered their " D2 Spicy pork ". It was bad. Appreciate the little side dishes however the main entree horrible. The pork was so salty. I couldn't finish it. Had to throw it away.
