Gallo Nero Frisco

Here we go... I went to Gallo Nero on Valentine's Day. I have been here before, but I knew it was good, I knew that it would be good again, and hey, Valentine's Day. It was Busy! Only a 15-minute wait, we were seated as quick as possible, served up some water, and bread ~10 minutes later, but given every table was taken, I am giving my waitress some slack! Got the cheese sticks as an appetizer, 10/10, marinara sauce was great! For my meal, I got the Chicken Carciofi, listen up, I have visited Rome. Straight up, this tomato vodka sauce was a carbon copy of what I had. The spaghetti was al dente (perfect), the chicken was grilled nicely, the artichokes weren't tooooo overpowering, and did I mention that the tomato vodka sauce was perfect? My girlfriend got the Beef lasagna, wasn't bad, but a bittttt too much cheese. Definitely becoming a regular here. Food isn't horribly expensive, service is great.

Besides initially server missing our table...good food, good time celebrating Valentines day.

The Chicken Murphy is delicious! Their calamari and rolls were an amazing starter. We will definitely be back.

We ordered through uber eats and got a bag from DOOR DASH..? We called and let them know and were told this has been “happening a lot.” If it’s happening a lot why not change the system? Not to mention the order we received wasn’t even right according to the receipt attached. They forgot those people’s salad. We reordered to get the right food and they managed to mess it up AGAIN. My dad had ordered spaghettini with marinara, bell pepper, and sausage and they forgot the sausage…. HOW do you forget something like that? It’s literally 4 ingredients. Sounds like management needs to step up. These are easily fixable mistakes, but it seems like they don’t really care. Money is money, right?
