GAIL's Bakery Cambridge Market Hill

Bought two sausage rolls from this bakery and both were incredibly fatty when we bit into them. A large layer a fat between the meat and pastry which was very off putting, considering the price and the amount thrown in the bin I would not return.

I had a bad experience with male employees and felt very discriminated against. Seems I’m not the only one feeling this. Sort it out. Disgusting.

빵과 커피가 맛있어서 가끔 가는데 남자 직원들의 심한 불친절을 경험했고 굉장히 불쾌했다. 다른손님과 심하게 차별하는걸 느꼈고 집에 온 지금도 기분이 나쁘다. 그일과 맞지 않는 사람들!!

The food is delicious but it’s very busy and the stuff sometimes doesn’t manage to clean up the tables right away. This is not the cheapest bakery in town but it is worth the money in case you’re looking for high quality food.

Excellent muffin. Good coffee. Bright space just by the market square.

Great coffee and cakes. The food looked amazing and would have had more were we not going out for dinner. Pastrami bagels looked delicious. We need to have a revisit to try them. Fabulous selection of rustic breads too. I really liked this place. Outside seating was perfect for the lovely weather we had last Sunday.

I usually enjoy Gail’s coffee, at the Grafton or around London. But the people at this location are kids/students who don’t pay any attention to what they are doing. My flat white was very bitter and the milk texture was unpleasant. Gail’s please spot check your staff and don’t sink to the level of supermarket Costa.
