Live this hotel , we lo e to stay here when visiting Cardiff.
Staying up for a rugby game and this hotel is fine. No frills but an ok place to go at a reasonble price. Close enough to the town centre that it wasn't a chore to get to the rugby but fair enough away that the sounds of the city centre didn't carry. Overall pleasant experience.
Assume that my review was good and the only negative point was the comfort of the bed! If you are a sole traveller then the bed is OK but if there are two of you sharing the bed- DON'T expect a good night sleep. Cheap bouncy mattress, whenever one of you moved the other would move with them snd you'd feel the springs! I got so fed up with itvtgatvi slept in the tiny two seater sofa so my wife could sleep.
We went there for Easter Break. We booked our one large room with twin beds below £350 for 4 nights, which is a great price. The location of the hotel is near the millennium centre and bay area. So connected to the main town. It is very convenient to move around with its location . They need to improvise their service really to a great extent. The dinner plates and cutleries were kept outside the room and not cleared till the next day, which is unacceptable. Soaps and bath toiletries are given at less quantity. The food was great, and you can get breakfast for £ 15 per day.
Nice rooms. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was acceptable but not anything special.
Hotel was a great price, service was excellent, free parking which is rare and rooms were perfect! Would love to stay here again!
