I have never been into this restaurant before I asked the lady what she recommends and she just said what do you want? I said I like to see what you recommend so I know what’s good. Told her I wanted to sushi rolls and she told me what you want and I said I guess I want some vegetables and some avocado Yum Yum sauce, then I get my food and two bowls utterly don’t care about customer service and they are not the politest
This spot was pretty good all things considered. The sushi I got was the Air Force roll and Sunday morning as far as the sushi is it's super good and solid with a great menu for options. The crab rangoon is crunchy and soft in the middle very delicious. The gyoza is not great kind of tasted like it was made in a microwave out of a bag Not a lot of flavor for all this and two drinks it runs you about 40 bucks so a good spot for a date all things considered. I'll definitely be back.
My first time here and the staff was friendly and helpful. The options were explained and suggestions made- the food was yummy too :)
I guess my review was deleted. Do not go here. The employees are nasty and standards are NOT met. The store closes early and if you go in even 1 hr beforehand...the employees will let you know how much you are inconveniencing them.
I personally really like this place and was surprised how good it was. I got a chicken bowl with rice and veggies to my customization cooked cream cheese avocado carrot mushrooms onions cooked with yum yum and soy sauce on the side. Mango milk tea with mango popping bubbles. It was really good! Give it a try! I eat at ninja grill a lot and honestly liked this place better, and they are about the same price!
Very unwelcoming when the cashier and order taker are talking poorly about everyone that walks in. Making statements like "why she staring at the menu so long? We gor bowls and sushi, that's it" and "why he staring at me like that?" And complaining about how they're "ready ta go". Just a suggestion, but get decent employees not trash.
Jolisa is it?
I ordered the Sunday Morning roll and asked that it not be burnt like last time. Instead of burning it, they under-fried it and it was barely crunchy and was actually soggy in some spots.
Ordered a poke bowl with rice, double meat (spicy salmon, eel), cucumber, cilantro, jalapeños, avocado, onion. In general the food didn't feel fresh, the salmon had a slightly fishy hint (not good, sign of it not being fresh), some of the cucumber slices were limp/discolored with no crunchiness, and out of the 2 avocado slices I had one of them tasted older and a bit brown which wasn't appetizing. Every other ingredient was good, rice tasted like classic sushi rice with rice vinegar which I was looking for, jalapeños were fresh and crunch, same with onion. Service was fine, but no smiles and didn't feel warm.
I personally wouldn't come back, giving 3 stars because honestly for the amount of double protein and the topping choices is good for the price, but it being sort of old tasting, you get what you pay for. This could also be because it was toward dinner time so I could understand that aspect too of food sitting most of the day if it wasn't really used. Overall though, there may be better places to go to get a poke bowl for better quality.
The bowls were so loaded it took me days to finish and it was really yummy too! Recommended
