Owner is a jerk with major anger issues. I think I saw him have an aneurysm screaming at innocent patrons.
Tucked into a back shopping alley, this is first/last dive in & out of Sedona prior to hitting I-17. Some folks visiting may think this may be a convenient spot. However, after spending two months in Sedona to visit family, the ownership of this establishment is despicable. For starters, the drinks are incredibly overpriced. With limited options for a casual weekend drink, I visited a total of 3x & witnessed Mike (I believe that is the owners name) berated female employees for not answering the phone in time & the bartenders (who are also the cooks) for not bringing food out in a timely matter. All while as he sits having cocktails at the bar like a lump on a log. He is verbally abusive to his staff and patrons. Mike’s simple response is: ‘I’ve had this place for 20+ years; if you don’t like it; leave’ . For that reason, I refuse to support & spend another cent at this place. Treat your employees better
Amazing experience. First time in town for a Bachelorette party and everything was amazing
Do not come here if you just turned 21 or if you are a person of color!!! We went here for my friend's 21st birthday and it was just one of the bars we plan to stop by on one of our lists. We got there and they told us that she can't be at the bar after 12 which made absolutely no sense to me. We went to 2 bars before stopping by here and they did not care and wished her a happy birthday. We understand that the bartender does not make the rules so we just let it be. However, we still complained about it privately amongst ourselves until these 2 old men came up to us and said "it's just an Arizona liquor law" and kept trying to explain. One of my friends literally looked up the Arizona liquor laws online and none of them mentioned that. I don't know what law they're talking about because I have lived in Arizona for a while and there's not one bar that kicks you out after midnight because you turned 21 that day. I wish I made more of a fuss that night but it wasn't worth wasting my breath on this stupid business. This place is full of white people that look at you passive aggressively anyway. Mooney's Irish Pub is so much better!!!!!
Feels clean, good vibe, pool tables, good juke box, chill space.
The food was ok, the karaoke KJ could use a attitude adjustment.
Went on karaoke night, very fun! More spacious, friendly and fun bar vibe in comparison to the only other bar in Sedona (Irish pub).
