Ramens prob good but sushi is not good
Took my “Italian” friend Joey here just before he shipped off to basic!!! He couldn’t stop talking about how excited he is to be stationed in Japan and eat yummy food just like the food at Fujiya. He especially liked the chicken yakitori! He was a little embarrassed to ask for a fork to eat his ramen with but the staff was very nice about it. Hoo Rah “Joey!”
Pretty popular place on Walnut. Often have to wait couple minutes to get seated for dinner. The ramen is good but somewhat expensive. It’s around $20 for a bowl of ramen, which is same price point as restaurants in NYC but not as good.
A bit crowded, but if you get past that, the food is really good! Give them a try!
As a Japanese I must say the ramen broth is good but you get barely any meat with it.
Delicious food and very friendly service. We visited around the time of the restaurant's anniversary, and they gave out cute keychains to all customers. Can get very packed at peak dinner times on weekends, but if you come around happy hour you can easily be seated!
Best Ramen in Pittsburgh.
