For one, to go must not be the way to go. But don't order the tempura veggies. Worst I've ever had for multiple reasons. How little, uncooked, random veggies you wouldn't usually use..it's like they took the very scraps from stuff, a seriously little amount of veggies, and cooked em for a hotflash. Completely uncooked sweet potato..the worst fried onion you'll have, and it was $14 which is the most insane part. I feel like places are takin advantage of the inflation thing while not caring about the food too, it's weird. The fish was pretty freakn bad. low end conveyor belt stuff that's way cheaper has far better flavor..which will probably be due to age, quality, and freshness(how long thawed)of the fish. Fuji's in Clackamas was legit..this one I think used to be better, but no way am I gettn it again. Pls don't serve the temperua veggies to people.. That's stealing $15(tax)
Vegetarian options: I had the freshest sake (fresh salmon) nigiri and a spear-tacular asparagus roll. Both were excellent and sushi chef Daniel was very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit!
The two of us went there last Friday for a small birthday party. They had a customer who was extremely obnoxious and kept bothering us to be part of their intervention/birthday. But the worst part of the night was when we finally realized that we had ordered the $60 combo meal for two people and were charged twice along with an extra drink we never ordered. Our price for 2 meals and 3 drinks = $158.
Food, drinks and staff were absolutely amazing! We came in late, close to closing which I hate doing it they were kind and welcoming and the service was quick and precise. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend coming here! The lychee martini is to die for! A calm, relaxed and overall nice experience
I have no idea how this place has more than a one star rating, or we just went on a really bad night. I spent $90 on take out last night. They got the order wrong so I had to go back. When I got home the order was still wrong, and that I could deal with, but the food itself was the most disgusting sushi I’ve ever had. Literally we threw away half of it away because it wasn’t edible. Undercooked tempura shrimp which tasted like old fryer oil. The rice was hard and not even actual sushi rice, and the fish was so fishy i was worried we were going to wake up with food poisoning. The nigiri was so absurd, it had a CHUNK of fish on a ball of dry hard rice. When I say chunk it was a huge haphazardly cut piece of meat twice the size of a standard cut. Im so mad I wasted my hard earned money here. The only good thing out of this is knowing where not to go.
Sushi chef was obviously inexperienced, as well as a little weird. Food was good.
Loved the restaurant, fresh fish, great staff, overall great experience!
