Lovely garden centre, always plenty of eye-catching displays of plants and flowers. Selling alot more clothing now, a bit pricey though. I do find that the plants are very expensive here, compared to other local garden centres. The cafe is very nice, lots of seating inside and out. In good weather when you can sit outside by the huge pond, watching the fish. Plenty of parking. Always busy. There is a fruit and veg stall outside, looks very nice but again very pricey. £6 for a small punnet of strawberries
Lovely garden centre, nice cafe with reasonable prices, friendly staff and a good system in place with covid restrictions, well worth a look around.
First time, enjoyed walking around. Big variety of plants.
They've updated this Frosts a lot so it is as good as (albeit smaller than) the one in Woburn. Had a lovely afternoon tea which was really well served by Aaron, great value for money with unlimited tea and barista coffees. Highly recommend.
A very nice garden centre with a large selection of all garden items. A bit pricey but worth a visit. Nice cafe as well.
What an amazing store, I can't believe I didn't know about it all this time, only being a 4 minute drive away. It's not just a garden center, it's like everything under one roof. The restaurant serves good quality food at reasonable prices and it's easy to get in and out in under an hour. The store has everything from clothing, kitchenware, home decor, puzzles and kids toys, etc. I feel like I could spend hours browsing through everything and still not see it all. The garden center is expansive, and prices there are also reasonable compared to online. We got a huge wooden garden trough on legs for only £60 because it was a display model and a little weather worn. I've seen them go for 200+ online! They also have adorable stone and cement garden sculptures for really cheap as well. A little bit of everything. The staff have all been lovely. Our most recent trip, we looked at the outdoor produce market and were amazed at the freshness and quality of the fruit. Strawberries taste like the ones I pick myself in the summer, and I even found a golden pineapple! The grocery store ones are always green. Not sure where they source their produce from but it beats the local grocery stores hands down. I want to come here every weekend!
We visited today. This is a lovely garden centre with lots of choice & great displays. We decided to have lunch in the cafe. This was the second time in recent months that we have eaten here. We were told that today's was the new summer menu & that the wait after we were seated was 40/45 minutes. It was after 2pm so not peak lunch time. Once we were seated the server came promptly. My granddaughter chose the kids menu sausage & chips and no beans. My daughter chose the tuna melt & I went for the soup of the day, which was mushroom. The food arrived very shortly after ordering. Almost no waiting at all.Our food was awful. My granddaughters sausages had either been pre cooked & kept warm or precooked & zapped in the microwave. Either way they were way overdone & she couldn't eat them. My daughter's tuna melt had a very strange taste & wasn't very pleasant at all and my mushroom soup was watery and tasteless. It appeared to be very small chopped mushrooms and water and not a lot else. The chunk of bread that accompanied the terrible soup was rock hard. When my daughter went to pay she discussed this with the cashier who took two the two mains off of the bill. Unfortunately this is the second nasty experience we have had in the cafe, our last visit a couple of months ago was almost as bad. This means we won't be using the cafe again. Better to get better food elsewhere. On the upside the chips were great.
