This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.
Good service. Loud but good atmosphere. Initial pasta was undercooked and crunchy but was replaced quickly by new plate and response was really good, handled it very well; new dish was delicious. However, some of other dishes were okay and little pricey. Got lobster pasta special, octopus appetizer, and rigatoni.
Gem of a restaurant. Excellent food including the best mussels I've had in a very long time.
It was a cool experience to dine in the XVIII century building! The service was perfect and the food was tasty! We can highly recommend sprouts, chicken wings and french onion soup!
Tasty food with personable service and a classy atmosphere! Located in the cutest town where you can grab books, antiques, records, and more. Parking: Ample parking on the street or lot.
My wife and I had dinner here on Jan 7th. The onion soup was amazing, and the Schnitzel was great. Our server was very attentive. We will definitely be going back.
Beef bourguignon was very meager portion, less than 2oz of beef in a nice delicate sauce, but the mashed potatoes tasted like they were powdered , cabbage was good, for $29 very disappointing
