My husband and I just went here for the first time tonight. We would hands-down give this restaurant the highest score possible, a five 5️⃣ . The food was absolutely divine and our waitress, Sarah, was marvelous!. First, we were served an amuse bouche which was a truffle egg-salad bite and it was delightfully good. Then we ordered an appetizer which was a mushroom tart and my husband loved it. He said he would give it a five 5️⃣. Next, we ordered a soup and salad and the soup was divine. It was a red leak and potato soup and words can’t describe how delightful yummy it was. I’m so glad we got it. Then we got our main courses and we would also rate them a five 5️⃣, they were wonderful. Then my husband ordered the Osso Buco and he thought it was absolutely delicious. The veal shank was so tender that it was falling off the bone and he said it was incredibly rich and beefy. I had the halibut in a cream sauce with crab. The fish was cooked to perfection and it was absolutely divine. I cannot tell you how good it was and I would clearly give it a five. 5️⃣. Our waitress’s name was Sarah and she was incredibly nice. Not only was she very attentive, but she took the time to explain the various dishes to us while being very personable as well. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, but would come again. We live approximately 2 1/2 hours from this restaurant and we would travel again to come back to it. It was definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time.
Over rated food...my pasta was over cooked..and the waitress decided to give me the cheapest wine when I asked her to select a wine for me. It may have a fancy location and called a french restaurant but it's as classy as the olive garden. I believe the way I was treated had alot to do with my race and my African American companion. Typical French attitude.
The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Such a wonderful date night, dinner and fireworks to top it all off. The French Hen. For dinner tonight we experienced the Chicken amuse-bouche, Soup of the day Scallop Chowder, Escargot Appetizer , Brandy Peppercorn Cream Grilled Duck, Filet de Boeuf Rossini with a truffle sauce with veal demi-glace and for dessert my personal favorite, Berry Crème Brûlée!! It's the little things and special moments that you get to spend with the one you love that means everything. Thank you Fench Hen for the experience
I got the halibut, the first bite tasted fishy I won't be returning
Very nice place. Classy atmosphere. Great food. Prices are about where you would expect them. My wife ordered the veal and I had the scallops. Both were very good. Will return.
Can only comment on the basics of the lunch menu which is full of French/American fundamentals. Delicious burger and solid escargot with tons of butter/garlic. Very attentive service. Location average for an upscale restaurant. Will try again.
