Not open on Friday night?
Franks is capable of making the best pizza I’ve ever had. 4 years ago when I first went to Franks it was fantastic. I would have given them a 5 star rating at that time. The last few times we were so disappointed in how things are going downhill. Every table looked like several different groups of people had eaten there. There was crumbs and sticky stuff on every table. The pop machine overflow was full of liquid that wasn’t draining, the tea dispenser was empty and sitting there apparently broken. The music was uncomfortably loud and playing only grunge era rock that only pleases a very specific group of patrons. Our pizza was still pretty dang good. They added a Sicilian crust a little while back that was superb! I could have eaten every day the rest of the of my life and never got tired of it. But the last few times it was over cooked on the bottom which took away from the rest of it. We mentioned we weren’t satisfied with the crust and they didn’t seem to are much and suggested we order it cooked less the next time. They have some older stand up video games like Pac-Man that we thought were so cool when we first went in Franks. They are still there and children seem to have a lot of fun playing with them while waiting from their food. Sadly I don’t think we’ll be back because of the decline of quality and cleanliness and the addition of loud grunge rock( not that I don’t love music)
Pizza the consistency and flavor of a wet napkin. By far the worst in the city. Go anywhere else.
Doordarshed Frank's tonight. What a disappointment! I paid for delivery to my hotel room. Tipped 25% in advance. Pizza was cold and delivered to the wrong room after sending text to the delivery person in advance. If you are looking for NY Style Pizza, you'll have better luck in the frozen pizza aisle at your nearest grocery.
Food and staff are always great. I would recommend.
Really good pizza! We got the New Yorker Sicilian and it was amazing- half order was 6 thick slices it was perfect. The cheese sticks were phenomenal! Had a great crisp crunch towards the crust. Service was so friendly! We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: They have free games to play as well
Ordered for delivery, no warning with door dash. Pizza was $20 and by the time you order and pay before given total you are paying a few extra fees. Total for 1/2 Sicilian was $32. Ordered with all thr meats pepperoni, beef, sausage, ham and bacon that were hardly, if even on the pizza or matched photos. When I called was placed on hold and after 9 minutes hung up and called back to make sure they had my apt. #.
Just great pizza. Their pizza sauce is fantastic, light and tomatoey and you can tell it's homemade. The crust is just what you're looking for in a New York style pie. I'd put this place up against any of the other big hitters in Omaha for pizza. Their Sicilian style (on focaccia bread) is also fantastic if you like a thick crust. Staff is always very friendly and I love the that classic pizzeria vibe with a few arcade games for the kids.
