Great social atmosphere. Fun games to play. They really need more than 1 bartender downstairs. Not a huge selection at that bar and the cocktails were small & expensive. Get a beer instead. In the winter, when we went in March, the downstairs was freezing. Wear your wool socks and sweater & you'll be good. All-in-all it was a good experience. Shuffleboard was a blast. Giant games too. City parking. Not wheelchair accessible. Narrow, dark stairs to get downstairs, opens up to a big game area.
We were barhopping with friends. A friend had gotten a souvenir glass from another bar. A female employee ripped the souvenir glass out of our friend’s hand and then told us to leave and had an attitude. We literally had zero interaction and had *just* walked in.
So many great custom drinks to get, it’s always a great time coming here. I hope they open back up soon I really miss coming here! Parking: Free street parking Wheelchair accessibility: No there is a staircase getting down.
Great place to feel like a mini vacation! Amazing staff who were super friendly, can’t wait to go back!
Great spot, good drinks for decent price! Bartender was a sweetheart. We also did karaoke for $100/hr which seemed a little steep since it was only 5 of us, but it was one of our birthdays so we did it. But still seemed a little high in price. But overall, we had a good time, really cool spot, great decor and overall very friendly staff!
Heidi and the Franklin Alley staff catered our wedding and they did a phenomenal job. We had easy communications with Heidi leading up to the event and everything went smoothly day-of. They arrived on time, prepared excellent cocktails, accommodating our special requests, and kept our guests happy all night! They were courteous and a pleasure to work with.
Underground barcade. They know the vibes
My wife and I had the welcome party for our Oct. '22 wedding at Franklin Alley and I can't speak more highly of the owners and staff there. It was perfect. Heidi and Frank were so wonderful to work with; they put a quote together for us, worked with us on all the details and menu options, and saw the event through to perfection - including helping out with all of our welcome bags. All of our guests had an amazing time! Word of advice for those buying out the place: learn from our biggest regret. We booked the entire venue for three hours: 6-9PM. That included the shuffleboard and bocce courts, the bar, the arcade games, and the KARAOKE ROOM. My wife, myself, and all of our friends are BIG karaoke fans...but I neglected to book the karaoke room beyond those three hours so we had to split at 9PM because it had been booked up for the rest of the night. So if you feel like you and your party can go all night, plan ahead! Franklin Alley is a fun and magical place and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will be sure to visit whenever we're in Troy.
This is an error. This is from down east ice cream factory in Maine! Frankin alley is great but they don't have This! coming here for years and it is always amazing. They have more vegan flavors now! We went at least three times this trip. Won't disappoint !
