I was nervous because many of the places I have been while in Italy have not met my high expectations for amazing food (bc of all the hype!) This did. We had the rabbit ragu pasta (recommended by our waiter) risotto and Florentine steak with roast and mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent - flavourful, cooked perfectly, delicious. The florentine steak probably would have tasted better if it was cooked to medium (my preference) but overall it was all great. I don’t know our waiter (short white hair and glasses; excellent English) but he was outstanding. Best service we’ve had in two weeks in Italy. Homemade tiramisu was also yum. Great dining experience overall.

Excellent service and Steak Florentino

I wish I had more photos to share - but the food was so excellent that my wife and I were eating before we could take a photo. My wife normally takes the photos and I leave reviews later - but this place is an absolute exception where I was disappointed we didn’t have more evidence to brag about our meal. My wife had the ravioli which was excellent. But somehow she found herself eating more than I cared of my filet and truffle mashed potatoes. We had wine and ate like kings for ~$100 and I’d do it again tomorrow. I didn’t catch the name of the gentlemen serving us but I remember he was Irish and was very welcoming and pleasant and funny. Thank you sir for a nice evening.

Extremely over hyped. Easily the most curt service we've had in Italy and the food was well below average. The prices are much higher than other better restaurants in the same area.

Sitio inmejorable, amables, buena comida, sombrita asegurada. Si estas entre Santa Croce y la Segnoria este es burn sitio para comer y descansar. Buena carta, buenos vinos y buen servicio. El descanso merecido para reponerte. Si puedes reserva. Yo fuí sobre las 14:00 más menos y ningún problema. Una ensalada y un filetto de manso con vino reserva de la Toscana.

Da napoletano, l'Inter ha vinto lo scudetto e il detto dice “InterStellar”, da napoletano sempre dico “FranceStellar”. Cibo: 5/5 stelle. Commento solo quello che ho preso io e mio fratello: Tagliata di Manzo buonissima, squisita! unica pecca: dopo 5-7 minuti il tipo di carne diventa “secca”. Almeno questo è il termine in cui lo definisco io, diventa insipida, senza gusto. Poi mio fratello ha preso una “FrancescoVini”. Ne ho provata una (la vostra) e penso che sia la migliore! Servizio : 4/5. Un po' troppo lento. PENSO (lo metto in maiuscolo) che c'eravamo solo noi e altri due gruppi fuori, dentro non sono riuscito ad identificare se c'era qualcuno o no. Ambiente: 5/5. Fantastico, non ho parole.

Out of the way near Santa Croce. Lovely service and great food.

We had 2 whiney / hangry kids, they got the kids food and the adults wine out ASAP to numb the whining! We were a big group and eating quite early 6pm because of the kids! They sat us at a long table with a huge wine rack behind and an entrance to a wine cellar downstairs. No better feeling than to be surrounded by so much wine! Excellent Bistecca Fiorentina, meat was delicious, pastas were gorgeous and wine was like a velvet blanket!
