Wow- what a lovely little find!! This cafe is in the centre of town and is one of the friendliest and most welcoming places I've been too. Firstly, it was spotlessly clean, the menu was vast but not overwhelming and the prices were reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and polite. I had a cappacino with amaretto syrup- omg!! Delicious!! I also tried a custard slice (a tough choice as all the cakes looked beautiful and fresh) which was really creamy and tasty. I didn't try the other items on the menu but I could see fresh foods like paninis and soups beibg served and they all looked lovely, they also cater for Vegans and GF across their menu. There was a steady flow of people but I felt I was also welcome to sit in the corner and read my book without the judgement of being expected to buy more and more coffee. They're also clear Harry Potter fans and there's a little area with some props and memorabilia which my kids would love. If you're looking for a safe, quiet, welcoming space to have a cuppa then I would highly recommend Forty Six.
Just had coffees with my friends, first time to visit this cafe but definitely won't be the last time! Loved the decor and the comfy seats.
Awesome leek and potato soup, highly recommend. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Sorry, no photos, it disappeared too quickly
Lovely environment & big tea cups ... that makes a difference
If you are a Harry Potter fan get yourself down to Forty Six Coffee Shop. It's so quirky and you can spend ages just looking around the décor. Service was fast and friendly, food was lovely, will definitely go again to experience their garden area. Great little place
The cakes are excellent but against diet rules but has to be done when in Neath. We visit when in Wales and would highly recommend.
Fantastic! Try the butterbeer!
Nice, cosy, friendly atmosphere. Very busy but lots of seating downstairs and upstairs. Food lovely and nice selection of cakes but the only criticism was that we visited 3 days in a row as I was visiting my daughter in Neath so I was meeting her here each day and the same cakes were on display each day and I expect they would be there until they were sold so probably not as fresh as they should be but would definitely visit again as it's a lovely place
