I would frequently order delivery. Last night I made a delivery order through the Slice App. My estimated delivery was 8:25 PM. Around 8:45 I contacted support informing them I still did not receive my order. Slice contacted Forte and they informed them I’d receive the order within 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes.. 15 minutes… I contact support again. At this point I’ve already provided alternative options for the guests at my house and my family. I inform Slice to tell Forte I don’t want the order. Slice then tells me that Forte insists the order will be there shortly. 9:21 I get the food. Shortly after I receive a call from Forte apologizing for the mistake (they labeled the order as pick up, NOT delivery) and that the ORDER WOULD BE ON THEM. So you would imagine my surprise when I see 50% of the order refunded this morning. After calling the Slice customer support team, they called Forte who told them they’re only going to offer 50% refund. DO NOT CALL AND TELL ME YOU APOLOGIZE FOR MAKING A MISTAKE AND THE ORDER IS ON YOU ONLY TO GO BACK ON YOUR WORD. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. Completely disgusted with Forte management. You lost a customer.
You can’t do business with a restaurant that marks your order as pickup when it was placed as delivery, tells you it’s on its way, shows up two hours late. Manager calls you to tell you it’s on them to only find out next day that they only refunded you 50%. The lack of respect for the customer cost them a loyal customer.
I’ve been trying to find a pizzeria in NJ that has good pizza and gnocchi. Finally found it!! I’m a tough critic being from NY but this place is consistently so good. Delicious!
After being there for an hour and a half (and having not ordered dessert or coffee), the waiter told us we had to leave becaue they had customers waiting for our table. While we were standing at the table putting on our coats, an employee came over and started to reset the table. We will never return to this establishment. Forte has way too much competition to think they can get away with treating customers in this manner.
