I’ve had the rare opportunity to try a variety of different Mac & cheese places around the world. On the surface, you look at the ratings (4.3 out of 5) and you think, it can’t be that bad. So we took a shot. We ordered the mega size Mac & cheese added some protein and the bill came to $35. The portion was considerably small. For $35 you are better off going somewhere else. I have read several reviews from many upset diners, and there is one consistent complaint - portions and the cost of the small portion received. The owner seems to think that by replying with “well we make our Mac & cheese with REAL butter and REAL cheese” somehow justifies the price - and as I am not a restaurant or food industry business owner, I can’t comment on how food prices have gone up. But I can assure you one thing, based on the portion, it’s definitely not worth $35. Owner: Consider increasing your portions to justify that price - or lower your price.
Hamsolutely fork'n delicious
lemme tell you something. there’s living, then there’s strolling down wharf at 23:00 with a tiny smear of ketchup on your face, palming a veggie sausage. live your life to the fullest, babe.
The perfect spot to grab a quick bite to go with tons of vegan/veggie options, but my non-veggie pals swear by the pulled pork poutine! If I could give this place a higher than 5 star rating I would because the food has always been good and the service has always been top tier. Vegetarian options: Perfect for vegan and veggie options. Dietary restrictions: Super handy for vegan and veggie options.
I got the curry, which was good, considering the price and that it’s a ‘hole in the wall’ eating place.
