There were 3 of us for a small birthday. We had to wait in a line to order drinks and our food. The line took forever. We saw one guy give up and leave. Other people were moaning about the wait. Must have taken 30 Minutes or longer to get to the bar. There was only one person at the bar making drinks, setting up food orders and handling transactions. The young fella waiter would say he would get on with a request, such as filling up the soap dispensers in the ladies washroom, but never did anything. Staff seemed unhappy to be there and fed up about something. Very under staffed. The food was served on a dirty plate. I could feel food bits on the underside and see grease smudges all over the rim. My fruit salad cocktail was basically turquoise coloured watered down vodka. There were a lot of tables reserved. We found one table in the lounge area that was free. About 10 minutes after sitting a waitress came to tell us we had to move because she decided to reserve it. There was no one cleaning the tables. We had to hunt for the drink menu. Last time I was here was 5 years ago. I recall the service, food and quality much better back then. What happened?

Standards here have dropped. We've been coming here regularly for 6 years. We deleted a 5 star review to give a 4 star review. That's now deleted for this 3 star review. 4 things that we really don't like. 1. Order drinks on the app, and they take forever to arrive at the table. We've watched staff not paying attention to drinks orders, even when nobody is waiting at the bar. We've even nearly finished our meals before they finally arrive. And that's after asking staff to find out where the drinks were. 2. Not having adequate stock to cater for offer days. Example regularly not having quadzilla burger available on BOGOF Fridays. We go there specifically for that sometimes. 3. Soda water with a tiny bit of cordoal is extortionately priced, and usually there is so little cordial, it just tasted like soda water. 4. Dirty tables not cleaned up, just left for customers to move stuff out of the way. Sticky tables after being cleaned. If Flying Horse management read this, please do better.
