Went Sunday 3/3 for brunch with my best friend. It was so good. Our server was great! We both had mimosa’s as well. I loved the atmosphere and how clean the place was! Even the bathrooms were nice and clean. Would def go back! I believe it was Roger who took pics of my friend and I before we left. Thank you again for great food and service! Will return next time for dinner.

Deep in the heart of Bedford County, at the top of Fleming Mountain, where the air is thinner, and the temperature is colder, sits the Fleming Mountain Grill -- a prime spot. I'm kidding. I have no idea whether or not Fleming Mountain is even an actual place. The Grill sits on Boonsboro Road across the street from the fire station, which is probably a good thing, because the Smoked Old Fashioneds that our neighbor table ordered were touch and go for a minute. Fiery ashes flying everywhere. It was great. Once the smoke cleared, their appetizer appeared. Imagine the gallows that they used to hang convicted criminals from. Sometimes they would hang people in groups. This appetizer was like that, except the gallows were only about twelve inches tall, and instead of dead bodies, it had strips of very-good-looking bacon hanging from it. I didn't get a picture, but another reviewer did. It looks pretty amazing. For my dinner, I ordered the ribeye, which is cut tableside. I asked for 10oz, and got 9.4oz, so no complaints. Our server graciously allowed me to sub in New England Clam Chowder instead of the vegetables, and I also ordered the twice-baked potato. All entrees come with the salad bar. I'm not a big salad person, but I do love a good Caesar Salad, and I was able to make that, and it was delicious. The other ingredients also looked fresh and yummy for the people who do like them. We were also served a small loaf of bread, with both standard and cinnamon butter, and it was good. When my meal appeared, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, which is exactly what I asked for, and it was really good. The twice-baked potato was the big let-down of the night. It looked amazing. The flavor was amazing. But, once you got to anything under the toppings, it was cold. By "cold," I don't mean "not hot." I mean it was refrigerator cold. I think they cooked it earlier, and then just stuck it under a broiler for a minute to try to get it hot again quickly, which was a failure. Our server replaced it with a second one, which "just came out of the oven," but was equally cold. After waiting for a third one, I finally received one that was hot and edible. I can't stand cold potatoes. That's why I don't eat potato salad or fries from Wendy's. We got dessert, which is uncommon for us. It was some kind of Italian Lemon Cream Cake or something like that. I don't care what it's called, it was very good. The server suggested we squeeze the lemons on top of it, and we appreciated that. The owner, I think his name was Roger, came by and apologized about the potato, and ultimately took it off of the check. That said--the only thing he took off of the check was the upcharge from the baked potato to a twice-baked potato, which was only $3. I understand it, but I also think that sitting there for twenty minutes while waiting for a second, and then third potato is worth more than $3. We definitely enjoyed our dinners, but I'm not sure I will return. After accounting for sides, etc., I'm figuring they're charging about $70/pound for ribeye. For comparison, I'm guessing that 221 Tap & Table is charging about $40/pound for ribeye. And, if I'm being honest, I love the one at 221 enough that I'm happy to eat the same amount of steak for less money. I'm not saying Fleming Mountain Grill is bad. I don't think anyone could think it's bad. It's not. It's actually very good. Great, in fact... but there are other places close by that are just as great and will cost you less.

Looked forward to a Bday dinner! Do not go on a weekend! Friendly greeters! If you do not want to have all your food dumped on the table at once “ Fast Food”! Enjoy a great salad bar but DO NoT Place your order until you are ready for next entree or appetizer! Felt absolutely ill leaving the restaurant and taking leftovers home ! Ruined evening!
