I finally saw Flashbird Chicken open in Scotts Valley, so I went in and ordered a chicken sandwich and a $6.00 order of waffle fries. What a joke. I got about 10 fries - undercooked. :-( unasked about them and the staff told me that was all they are allowed to give.
Best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! The mushroom bites are addictive. Clean, visible kitchen and super friendly staff. Definitely going back.
I feel like this place doesn’t deserve the negative reviews. Food is pretty good and it’s great to have another option in town. Service was fast and friendly. Waffle fries were a letdown but the shoestring fries slapped
Would be 4 stars but pricey for what you get. I stopped in because I was curious about this new place I passed by. Looked like a fried chicken sandwich place and it is! The spicy chicken sandwich was really good as was the sauce that came with it. Only downside was with tax and $2.00 tip it was an $18.00 fired chicken sandwich with no sides or drink. I know the food business is tough, but I can't stomach the price. Parking: NA
i enjoyed the food! was a bit pricy but oh well. don’t know why people review so low for single tiny issues but it is what it is. i would come back again
They need to change their buns. The bun turned into a floppy mushy mess. The chicken was juicy, but under seasoned and not crispy, the pickles on the sandwich were good but the lettuce was mushy. The waffle fries were just Ok. The onion rings were absolutely delicious. The ranch dressing was delicious also. I would not go back.
Ever heard of FLASHbird? It’s a craft fast chicken sandwich spot. I had never heard of it myself and was surprised to see it in the location. It was just out of nowhere one day, so I had to stop in. Their motto is fresh-from-scratch food designed by a chef and served in a flash. They have a very limited menu, and it’s pretty much just chicken options. They have the vegetarian option of a mushroom sandwich, and they have wraps and chicken tenders. The onion tangles were pretty good. They were dusted with a jalapeño-lime seasoning and were pretty crunchy. I also noticed that they do also serve a southern style coleslaw. I’ll definitely come back. The chicken sandwich was pretty tasty, and the onion rings as well. Not a lot of things on the menu, but if you’re craving a delicious, juicy chicken sandwich, you can definitely drop in here and get a quick one that’s healthier than the ones you get at a drive-through at a popular fast food place.
I was excited to try this new place out but was sent away by the employee inside because they do not accept cash and cash is all I had to pay with. What kind of restaurant doesn't accept cash is the owner out of their freakin mind!? I can't say how the food was but looking at their menu they seemed a bit pricey too. $12 for a regular chicken sandwich and I wanted to add cheese and bacon which is an extra $5 and after tax it would've been almost $20 for a sandwich and it's not even a sit down restaurant. The spot they're located at has had so many businesses come and go I doubt they'll last very long
Five stars to help bump rating, because they definitely don’t deserve the two star rating, imo. Overall, though, more like a four star experience - mostly due to cost. My husband and I each got a spicy chicken sandwich (each sandwich came with two sauces) and shared an order of waffle fries (w/ spicy honey so $1.50 extra), no drink, which cost us $37. There is no option to dine in, so must be taken to go. Honestly, we really enjoyed everything we ordered, but still feel it is way overpriced. Would love to eat here occasionally if the prices come down a bit.
