Fisherman’s Plaice

Had place order and prepaid, what to wait over an hour in my car for my order.Total disorganization, specially during Good Friday. They were better last year.

Goof Friday, we decided to try Fisherman’s Plaice. Ok it was busy and I mean busy. Only doing take away, 30 minute wait once ordered, bring out to your car. We waited and OMG worth the wait. Haddock and chips were spot on. We both ordered two pieces but could only eat one. It was delicious, fries were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Fisherman’s Plaice for your take away fish! And chips.

The fish and chips are great so on slow days I would absolutely recommend. Good Friday is another story. No point to order ahead as then you're still waiting an hour + for your food. Can't plan dinner under those circumstances. Walk-ins may be better but I won't be trying this next year.

Went in to order for my family. Here’s how it went down: Me: (to the chef) does this have nuts? I have a child with a nut allergy. The chef: If your child has a nut allergy just don’t eat here. So I left. The end.

Food is not as good as this long wait..their good Friday order system is horrible. Lines of cars waiting in the back 15+ cars. You pre order a pickup time and still wait the same amount of time as a walk in order maybe even longer. Just ridiculous.

Never order here during good friday. Horrible planning on their part

This place is a joke. They don't realize people plan get togethers around good Friday. To make pre order people wait more than an hour and a half for their order is unacceptable. You take so many orders., more than you can handle just to cash in on good Friday sales. You take pre orders and make customers wait so long as they have nothing else to do but wait since they've already paid. Boycotting this place

1 star rating is too high after the Good Friday fiasco! Waiting 2.5 hrs, in the back of the restaurant parking lot for a pre-order is unacceptable! The fish is good (based on past eating experiences) but this kind of service doesn’t make it worth it. Stop taking walkin orders if you can’t fulfill your pre-orders! Shame on you for clearly making yesterday a cash grab!

10/10! SO Happy to have finally found our new go-to Fish and Chips spot! We got 2 Haddock specials, fish was a great portion, crisp light batter , fries were great and fresh cut in house, coleslaw was good and unlike alot of other places the Tartar sauce was homemade . Price was fair and service for pick up was prompt. No complaints !
