We really used to love coming here but lately, the last three months or so we walk into this store and it is so depressing. The employees used to say welcome to firehouse and they would smile at you...like they were actually happy that you chose their business. Now there is no greeting, no smiles and the quality of the food has gone down. Sad pathetic customer service now and an atmosphere that is sad and depressing!! The food also took about 15 minutes to get
Delicious! Hook and Ladder is a meat forward sandwich. Truly satisfying! The Meatball sub is substantial, with a rich, flavorful marinara and unctuous tooth appeal, rivaled by none other. The ridiculous, busy and unappealing decor, combined with unenergized, disaffected and apathetic employees who've NEVER one said "thank you" forces one to order to-go (minimizes the interaction with the zombies for staff, maybe they need a break, a raise or ...?) Great, consistency, high quality and overall satisfaction. We certainly don't come here for the service. Vegetarian options: Limited to the basics: Tomatoes, lettuce, onion, and a few condiments (cheeses if you're not strictly vegan) Definitely vegetarianism is a clear afterthought. Dietary restrictions: Just type in whatever accommodations you require, surprisingly, the zombies can handle instructions... You may wish to keep it simple and use small words. Gluten free may be an option, but not entirely sure. Parking: Tons of parking, the location is in a strip-mall, next to Crumble cookies (Whose customer service is phenomenal ) Kid-friendliness: No kids in to judge the "service" by. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is heavy and the threshold is a bit high, but most wheel-chaired users can gain access relatively well.
